With
the information and shopping training available to you as a member of
the Buying Club, you can make this colorful and tasty meal in about 45
minutes for a cost of about $8.60 to feed 2 or 3 people.
I used:
-
Pasture-Raised Black Angus Beef,
fresh Collards, and Raw Honey from our farms.
-
Hydroponic Grape Tomatoes & Yellow
Peppers, Fresh Pineapple, Organic Brown Sugar, Bragg Liquid Aminos,
and Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) from local grocery stores.
-
Organic Short Brown Rice & Gomasio,
Organic Rice Vinegar, Organic Lime Juice from online
health food sources.
We loved this
dinner and it will go on my "favorite meals" list. Not only
was it
healthy and delicious, it was pretty to look at. It was almost a shame to
eat it - but we managed! My husband, Bobby, said, "You can't get steak like
this anywhere!" Almost right, honey...you can get it here!

Serves 2 or 3
Grass-Fed Beef
Kabobs
-
1 lb. Grass-Fed Beef, cut into 1" cubes
(stew, sirloin, etc.)
-
16 Grape Tomatoes, whole
-
1 Yellow Bell Pepper, cut
in 1" squares
-
¼ Cup of Bragg Liquid
Aminos
-
1 tsp. Organic Garlic
powder
-
1 Tbs. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Combine Bragg Liquid
Aminos, garlic powder and olive oil in a small bowl. Add steak cubes,
mix until well coated and let sit for 15 minutes. On 12" skewers,
alternate whole grape tomatoes, yellow pepper pieces, and beef cubes.
Place on hot grill and baste with left over marinade. Grill about 4
minutes every quarter turn (about 16 minutes total) for medium doneness.
DELICIOUS!
Sprouted Brown Rice with Gomasio
-
2 Cups Water
-
1 Cup Organic Brown Rice
-
1 tsp. fresh lime juice
or bottle organic lime juice
-
Organic Garlic Gomasio
(sesame seeds, sea salt & garlic)
Place rice in water and
put on stove. Do not turn on the heat! Mix in lime juice and let sit 20
minutes to "sprout" the rice. Then cook according to directions.
Sprinkle with Gomasio just before serving..
Fresh Stir-Fried Collards
-
1 lb. of Fresh Collards,
soaked in water & baking soda (removes bitterness)
-
2 pips of fresh garlic,
chopped
-
¼ Cup EV Olive Oil
Brown chopped garlic in
olive oil, then add collards. Sauté until collards are soft. Serve. If
collards are still a bit bitter, sprinkle some organic rice wine vinegar on
them. I like vinegar on my collards anyway. Rice vinegar is light and
does not have the "bite" of cider or white vinegar.
Grilled Pineapple
Slice pineapple
lengthwise into eighths. Do not peel. Place pineapple slices on the
grill. Mix honey & brown sugar and baste the pineapple. Grill until each
side is nicely charred. Serve warm.
